A commissioned sculpture inspired by
the boat mechanic.  The main body of
this piece is comprised of a
Morse
throttle control and is anchored by a
solid 3-blade boat propeller.  Each
intricate detail of the moving parts has
been cleaned and polished to show the
inner workings of the controller.  The
shade is comprised of a mesh cup inside
of a hemispherical wire cage wrapped in
several layers of aluminum wire.  A
3-way lamp allows the user to set the
mood.
